MetaMask has the capability to access a multitude of different blockchain networks beyond Ethereum. To change the network, you will first need to click the section where it says 'Ethereum Mainnet' at the top of the user interface. After selecting the button you will see a drop-down with several test networks to choose from. Select 'Custom RPC.'

From here you will need to find the RPC URL and Chain ID of the network you wish to connect to. Click here to access a list of networks that Sushi supports.

In this example we will use Polygon/Matic.

After inputting the data, Polygon/Matic Mainnet should be listed as an option on your list of networks. Selecting it will give you access to your wallet on the Polygon chain.

This is not the only way to change the network that you are on. Many sites that offer multi-chain functionalities have processes to help change the network automatically, same goes for Sushi. Through the Sushi website UI, you can select any of the networks which Sushi is deployed on.

On the top right hand corner of the web page beside your wallet address, you can simply click on 'Ethereum' icon to see all the available networks which you can switch to. Selecting any of those will automatically add them to your MetaMask. Once a network is added to MetaMask, it will remain until you choose to delete it.
