A token approval is an on-chain declaration which will allow the contract to move tokens from your wallet.

• It changes the status on the blockchain, thus the transaction consumes gas (payment).
• Has to be done when your wallet interacts with the contract for the first time.

After approving the transaction, the button will now display the word ‘Swap’.
