AMMs charge 0.3% in fees per hop.

Common pairs can usually be traded with only one hop, however exotic tokens might require multiple hops. For example - To swap from USDC to OHM, the interface may first swap USDC to ETH then ETH to OHM which will result in 0.3% fees x 2 (0.6% in total).

If you don't plan on using this feature, you can disable it anytime.

<aside> ⚠️ Multihops will always try to get you the best price. Turning it off will reduce fees to 0.3%, however you may not get the best price on your swap.

Step 1: Navigate to the swap UI and click on the settings button. This will give you the option to disable multihops.

Step 2: Toggle ‘Disable multihops’ on/off.
